What all do you guys do to get ready for a big trip....im leaving Thursday for Little Sahara...just wondering what yalls checklist consists of!

 

Well dont forget your camera, i did...
and one thing you REALY dont want to forget is...YOUR QUAD!!!!!

 

or the key to your quad, been there done that.

 

1) Flag
2) Helmet
3) money
4) fuel(if running exotic)
5) tools
6) extra clothes(plan for all types of weather)
7) extra parts(tires,handle bars,etc. Things that could be torn up in a roll over)
8) Slime(good for repairing a flat)
9) prepare quad and trailer(grease in Zerks, fresh oil,coolant top'd off,give every bolt and clamp a good looking over)
10) take your time getting there(a ticket, or a blown tire expense, could ruin your weekend)

WELL HOOVER YOU NEED TO CALL ME AND TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT TO PUT IN THE ICE CHEST AS FAR AS FOOD AND START GATHERING UP STUFF

IF IT IS RAINING THURSDAY IT WOULDN'T BE A BAD IDEA TO PUT THINGS I TRASH BAGS

 

on average, between my ds, lt250, and little 50cc, how much gas will i go through or need to bring? popping my sand cherry at glamis this weekend.

I used about 1 1\2 - 2 tanks per day. But we did ride pretty hard all day.

 

I ride till i hit reserve then i go to the store and fill up
