Wow, that's a coincidence... I came across that DS650 Baja motor on E-bay, too, so I just PM'ed Wayne about it... Seems like a pretty good deal, but you never really know the history of the use, or why the owner no longer has a chassis for it. Then again, would you really trust your engine after you get it back from Knutz with all the crap going on between him and his customers???

I'll throw a couple pennies into the mix too. I've read mostly all the posts about your motors, and maybe I'm totally wrong, but this is my opinion.
I can understand 100% why you guys are p!ssed off, but being mad isn't going to help one bit. There has to be some organization to your methods. How do you expect Pami to respond to your individual questions if you get people to bulk mail them? I'm almost positive they get just as many(probably more) emails from their dealers/riders where they are located. Making the website is a very good start. I believe you guys should "elect" a spokesman for the group. Granted, I haven't been in this argument/converstaion before, and you may already have it, but I believe it would be better for 1 person to voice the opinion of many, than having hundreds of ticked Americans sending this company emails. Make sure you have proof of each individual the spokesperson is representing, and know their individual needs/wants. You guys HAVE to know who's motor is at Pami's, and who's motors are at Don's.
OrganDonor, I think you're getting screwed royally, but hey; there is a chance the money did get lost in the mail. I would NOT send Don any form of payment until the parts arrived at my door. I'm not saying this is true, but some of your parts could be in Vegas650's quad. I also find it odd that he can find/afford the parts to fix a quad that is located near him, but he lets the people across the country out to dry.
On a side note: In reality, how did you guys expect Don to do this all by himself? Back when he posted here, I remember MANY forum members singing his praises, and highly commending his work. He stated many times that he did ALL work by himself. People realized that he did in-fact build some of the fastest DS650 motors in this country, so they all sent theirs to him. I've had problems getting my own 250R motor rebuilt, much less 20+ DS650's laying around.
All in all, I know you guys have waited forever, and I know just how bad it sucks to not ride(I haven't ridden in a little over a year now), but just getting p!ssed and shooting a company some emails isn't the solution. I'm sure it helps, but there are better, more effiecent ways. Am I right or totally, way off base on this post?

You are right, but if the mud slinging didn't start it would have not got so much attn.(insert 14 MIN name here) Now it seems to be turning into a help process.. It looks like I might be
getting my motor shipped from Pami, if I pay Gottfried what is owed, which is A LOT more than I owe don. We are still checking into this with the help of forum members.

Sounds like you guy's need a couple of knee breakers.
I would be happy to send a couple of my pit crew. It wouldn't cost much. Hell, if we can get them there on Saturday night, it wouldn't cost anything, they're going to be in a fight anyway!
