Dammb, This place went to helll pretty fast. I would like to put my two cents in here.
One penny: I am glad this turned from name throwing to trying to help others out.
Two penny: If everyone who is in control of the motors cooperates, we could be successful in getting these motors back to the US.
I would like to thank everyone that is trying to help us "Missing Motor Guy's" Any help is better than no help.
My info: 2 missing motors, They think that they have been done but I am not 100%sure. One motor is a ful race ready 760. The other was a rull race ready 703 for the little girl. They were sent to Knutz Concepts on 12/05/01.
Once again, in my opinion, I am glad this subject turned positive instead of the name throwing.
Team work makes hard work easier

Well, if someone does finally file a suit, be sure to get everyone else with their motors and/or parts missing to file with him. Knutz probably took a trip down to Vegas one weekend and blew all the $$$...
Wayne, I'd e-mail Gottfried and ask him what you would have to pay, in Euros or dollars, what exactly is owed on your engine. I agree with the others that Team Pami is in the wrong to use your engine as leverage to get other moneys owed from Knutz.

Thanks Blackds
It was just something that I threw together real quick. If you guys have other ideas of what to put up there let me know.
Dune Devil I'll update your info later. All info and ideas of how to get these back will help.
On a side note: No one is mad ot you Knutz they just want to get this resolved and that is going to be impossible without your help. Please respond back as to how we can get this accomplished. Any info that you can give will be helpful as well.

ok this is my story, BTW I was out drinking all night so spelling might be a little off......
here is the agreement that Don and I had.
Don's Letter To Me:
Hello Ron,
I've been thinking about your choice to cancell your order. I have no problem sending you back the remains of this motor, but I may have an idea that can help us both. I've figured an estimate for a dealer to rebuild your motor to stock, and it comes to about $2500, without labor. Add labor and things come up to about $3000. I will have about $500 of shipping into it as well. Even if I charge nothing for the break down and re-assembly[I'll re-assemble it loosely to faciltate future repair if you choose], I have to recoupe my shipping costs. That puts you into this motor for almost $3500, for a stock, used motor. A new motor sells for $5057.25 through a dealer, at retail cost. If your intrested, I wouldn't mind purchasing your remains, and that could help you absorb the costs of a new motor. I would be willing to send you $1000 for what is left of your motor.
This is just a thought, and I have no problem with just returning your remains if you would prefer that. I would like to find an answer that helps us both, instead of hurting us both. I'm very sorry that I couldn't fix your motor for you, but maybe this will help. Let me know what you think. Please e-mail me back as soon as you make up your mind, and I'll get a check out to you, or get your parts back together.

Then this is what happened:
Don told me that he was going to buy the remains of my motor from me for $1000 (after I canceled my order due to his poor business practices). I agreed to this and when I asked where the check was (after 3 months) Don told me that he sent it out and someone must have stolen it out of the mail. I said that's not my problem, and I asked for the money again. Now he refuses to send me anything because I'm demanding it and not being patient with him (keep in mined I waited for this check for 3 months) and now wants money from me. Going on Dons track record sending him money is like sending it to a black hole.
I'm just glad I got out when I did, but I still lost about $2000!!!

If I can personaly do anything please let me know.
I'll second this. Altough I have never met him in person I have spoken with him many times and seems like a top notch guy to me. I am glad some people stick up for what they believe in weather it be for themselves or others.
don't want to speak for 14mins or anything, but, as far as I am concerned, 14mins is one of the most generous people I have ever met. He is truly dedicated to the sport of atv'ing and for people having fun! It doesn't matter what brand of quad you ride, 14 is always a hoot to be around and offers good and useful advice! I for one , don't like to see anyone get a raw deal and hope everything works out. I too, like many others wanted more information on this issue and would like to help in some way. Just because 14mins rides a "slow Raptor" doesn't mean he's a bad guy or he's sick! You are right, this is getting quite old!
