Hey Demon what side of the piston got spanked by your valves? The exhaust or intake? Or both? I noticed my exhaust valves had kissed my piston also. But htere didn't seem to be any problems and my quad runs awesome, I smoked some raptors and a few piped banshee's at Glamis the other day, I was pretty happy about that. The valves are pretty tough so I dought you hurt them any, the piston material is much softer than your valves. Let me know how things are going. I am sending my NOS back this weekend, not taking any chances.

To be honest i am not completly sure. i didn't notice the dings till i already had the piston off, it was kinda dark in the garage so I didnt see them till I got in better lihgt. They arent very big or deep but bad enough, from what I can tell there isnt any damage to the valves but i am having them checked tomorrow. Now i just have to find some $$$$ so I can get my HD valve springs. Finding these answered my question for me LOL. One thing about it, I dont baby my quad when it comes race time so I dont think i should take the chance woth the valve springs.
