Default Bel-Ray EXP Oil

Has anyone used Bel-Ray EXP semi-synthetic 4-stroke motor oil? Im looking for an alternative to Honda HP4. Rocky Mountain has this bel-ray stuff in 10/40 and 20/50 for $3.99 a liter. Does anyone have a temp. chart for when to use 10/40 vs. 20/50?

I have used it, I get from a custom bike shop. The owner says it a real good product. I had the shop rebuild my 87 KX-250 and they did a real nice job. So now that I have the DS I use 10-40 but because it gets so hot here in the summer I think I'm going to switch to 20-50.

I just took his advice I don't know anything else about the oil, sorry.

depending on where you live and the temperatures in your area, the general is 20-50 in the summer, due to the hotter temp. your oil will break down faster, so you use a thicker oil to help keep lubricated, and 10-40 in the winter, when oil freezes it expands, so you will use a thinner oil to compensate
