The wheel hub needs to come off to remove the rear sprocket and YES!!! the nut is tight. No match for an impact though. Front sprocket is even tighter and gave the inpact a work-out. I strongly suggest a dab of blue locktite on the nut and torque the sh*% out of it when you install it. Not sure what the torque is on that one, maybe somebody who has the manual can tell us

WOH!!!
I can take my front sproket off with a ratchet!!! Its a 3/4 drive and a shallow socket.. It got Like a 9-10 bar. It comes right off and on.. I have even rode with it.. Are you saying I need to get mine on tighter?? I orginally used an impact to get it off do i NOT have it on tight enough?
Got a web site for sidewinders???

Just get them from Ron Woods. Those other guy's want to much money! Of course they will last a little longer. If you don't want to replace your chain stay with the 15/42 combo. Actually I think this works a little better than the 15/43. And don't torque that back hub to 173 ft. lbs!!!!That is ridiculous!!! Put it at about 125 and you will be fine. You don't even tighten a Pinion nut on your 1 ton trucks differential that tight!!
