new to the forum and the bomb

just bought an '02 baja a couple months ago and have used the forum a great deal to get all the info I need. thought it was time to join and post any questions or comments of my own. I'm stock other than a pro-circuit pipe (love the bark). Looking to get the K&N and jet kit. Any other suggestions? Just took the baja to gordons well, and loved the power, just want more. I ran it on some gecko's which I thought handled well for the bowl riding that I did. As far as cosmeticly I removed the front fenders, took off some stickers, took off the stock heel guards, shaved the rear fenders, and slapped on a pair of razr's. Now I want to work on the power. Want the most bang for the buck.

change the cdi, dump the geckos get haulers, change the gears to 15-42 15-43. then look into a pipe. oh with those gear changes replace the clutch spring so you don't loose any power there. it works great on my wife ds she can stay in the race with any stock bike and most low mods. the dales think it is moded, so then i let them see what cams and piston and porting do. but i found out that isn't moded from my raptor friends.

I might have sold the jet kit already, I'll let you know.
The filter is only about 2 months old. It looks a little beat up because I had a hard time getting it out of the airbox. If you want it I'll sell it for $10
Or I got a brand new, not out of the box k&n carb mount with outerwear. I was going to send it back but if you want it I'll sell it to you for $48, I paid 52.00 with shipping.
Let me know, I'm shipping it back monday.
Carb mount is the way to go. JMO

yeah that was my bike with the shaved fenders, but my buddy was racing it and trying to race people in it. From what I saw he wasn't doing to well in it. It was the first time he's rode it. I must say though, after riding my bike ge sure was impressed by the power. He has a 440ex with a fmf slip on and k&n w/ jet kit. So did you beat him, if so by how much, whats on your bike.
