Default Oil light came on!!!

The warranty covered it. The sensors are only $12 so I ordered an extra just in case. Better safe than sorry.

Default Oil light came on!!!

The oil sensor was a common problem on the 2000s but I heard they upgraded it after that. You sure don't see many failures on here any more. Mine went out after the first oil change. The dealer gave me a new one and no problems since.
my nutural safety switch has been acting up too, shows its in nutural all the time. No big deal though, I could care less about that.

02Baja, do you know what guage you went with, is it a mechanical or electrical gauge, or how about a part number, i too am interested in putting one in

Default Oil light came on!!!

It is a mechanical, liquid filled, Autometer Pro-Comp gauge. I got it and th emounting cup from jegs. Gauge Part number 105-5421. And the mount is here. Part number 105-5202. Any other questions, just let me know.
