Pike40, thanks for the break in note, you're right, I'm behind in the hours!!! I think I'm only up to 6-7 hours. <<sigh>> not enough play time!
Roadrat, a friend and I bought two at the same time out of the Seattle area including the 3 year warranty, but when we bought ours (3 weeks ago) I was led to believe that it was an "extra $595" for a 30 month extension of the 6 months which is at full retail cost.
I thought we got a screaming deal but if the 3 year warranty is "included" now (is this new news?) then my deal may be "underwhelming" but I did pay 8.8% (sales tax) below retail out the door...

The Reason Polaris EBS Only Works Rear Wheels, Which Is Very Stong In Low !! Is Because It Only Works The Rear. Because The Front Don't Engage Until The rear turns 20 % faster than the front or 1/5 of a wheel revolution,So you can't use AWD and EBS at the same time.On steep hills use high or in extreme cases use neutral! Outlander has a very good EBS system, but on machines that lock all 4 wheels together unlike Polaris go down slick hills in 4- wheel drive and you won't have this problem ! low or high.

I just purchased a new 2003 outlander 400. I was interested in a 4x4 for the 32 acres around my house and for hunting purposes. I was sold after I saw all the outlander offered for the price and warranty. The rebate and warranty is great! Plus I'm a new atv owner and if anyone knows of any good places to ride around the ohio/indiana/kentucky area, I would love to hear about em~!
