Does anyone know the price on the Lectron 46mm and how well it would do against the TM45?

I got my 44mm for $220.00, I'm guessing the 46mm will run about $260.00 or so

Before MRHP came along, most people got them from FastByGast, they have a website. Probably the cheapest source for them, but not as much r&d as MRHP so more tuning necesary from what I understand. But alot of people have bought from them and are happy. Then again there are no complaints from MRHP customers, he guarantees you the correct metering rod and exchanges even steven if you need to swap otherwise, from what I'm told, not sure if FastByGast would do that but worth asking if you call them.
I don't know if it still stands now, but a couple years ago FastByGast even gave forum members a discount.

The $550 that MRHP sells includes a lot of r&d work and is set up for the DS out of the box. The other's my cost less but you may have to due some more tuning to get the best performace out of it. I found one place the sells their set up of the lectron for $799 but you get a throttle, cable abd boot.

there is always discussion on the price of things on here. if you can tune really well you could save some money. i took my 45 to the local dealer, which does more snowmoblies than quads and had them work my carb, i still had to work it a little but that was another 80 bucks, if you add that to the price of the 45 plus the hose adapter and intake mod to except the 45mm insted of the 42, it brings the price back to close. from what i've heard and seen mr.hp does a lot of tuning, actually quite simple but you have to go and do it, how many threads do you see on can't get my quad to run, all he is doing is offering a service to help. i've messed with a lot of stuff and try all kinds of things for that edge, and having two ds's to run against each other i have seen a few things not work, carb mount filter. want to know the feeling of pulling up next to your wife, thinking yeah i got a carb mount and she is gonig to eat sand and to be the one eating sand, it wasn't priceless. talking with eric he also knew these things, so i know he has done some research. so if you look at the money he saved you on that purchase, that brings down the price. last thing i haven't done business with a place yet that doesn't gives discounts to those that give business more than once. don't know this to be the case with mr.hp but it wouldn't suprise me either if he did. oh and a fcr 39mm goes for 450-600 for the hondas so i don't know that the price of his carb is that bad sorry about the long thread and hope this helps with your decision, i've run the 45 for about a year and a half now and for the most part i'm happy with it, but it's hard to tune. i think you could save some money on ordering direct from fast by gast or whoever it was, but then all the tuning time that you could be riding, makes a guy wonder. well good luck if you go with the 45 hightower seems to have that carb worked out well.

The cheap prices on the Lectrons are not for the HV model which is more money.
