Default Tire preasure for a woods rider?

I have always run 6.5 in my tires.. I run the 22 Razrs and currently run 6.5.. I was just wondering what the consensus was for tire pressure. What produces the best tire ware?

3 psi seems to work great in the woods for me with XCT's.

i use about 7 cause if you hit a rock just right hard, you dent up your rims unless you got enough pressure, lots of rocks sticken out where i ride

I run different pressures for the locations I'm at. For optimum traction I go down to 4psi, but in rocky terrain I go up to 6 or7. I've had flats from the tire bottoming on a rock with too low pressure, and the tire rubber gets pinched by the rim and cut. Its hard to fix a 3/4" gash on the trail with plugs!
