I would say that the Woods is a good one, Pami is a good choice also. I think that DuneMe may have a Pami 11.1 available, not sure though.

You don't have to change the CDI but I would highly suggest it. I would go with the Woods or Pami CDI

i have the woods piston and like it i can still run pump gas when just running with the kids. but i talked to gary at tvi and he has a few pistons to choose from. the springs don't have to be changed, but you might want to get a copper head gasket from tvi, if you want to do it later, stock head gasket was $48, the copper is $40 and i'm told you can use it again.

In my opinion, if you are going to go into the engine, might as well go with piston and cams.

If you just bump the compression up a little with an 11.5 piston you will not feel a huge difference. With piston and cams you will feel a nice jump in performance.

However, with that you will probably need new valve springs, and will want a new cdi to use the new power, and probably a carb.

Just my two cents.

do the cdi first, if you go into the engine , do the cams and springs also, and you might want to port while your there also.
