Hightower,
try to put your personal feelings about Don aside and let him do the right thing. He seems very sincere to me. JMO
Besides, I think you'll like the PAMI cams better.
Good luck guys, I hope you two can work this out.

i don't know that high tower is doing anything wrong, he is the one that discovered someone elses mistake, which caused him to have to buy more expensive valve springs, and how does he know what he would get even if he did the trade? seems he is willing to take a cheaper cam, that the other party says is woods. elliotte told me all of there cams are marked, and i have one sitting on my desk right now and it says wood a-1 very clear. so if elliotte is right then the cams hightower has must not be your customer either if his are the woods, as stated earlier i hope someone else doesn't have his cams. i tend to lean hightowers way, he made a purchase from wayne and made plans to take down his quad, and i wouldn't want to wait around much. and all that stolen bike thing does that make wayne the cam thief??? he did sell the cams to hightower. well all of this is going to get no where it would cost more in gas than it would to buy new cams

I agree with Sandman 100%!
...also if you want to make sure you make things right with people, then for Go..... umm, for everyone's sake, send out the right parts the first time.
Hightower was a little harsh about it all tho.
My 2 cents!

well hightower was referred to in a round and about way as a thief, and some people take that a little personal, and he doesn't know don from the next person walking down the street. well it is to bad that all this went this way but as my wife just said, after hearing all of this, why didn't he tag all of the parts?

So Hightower had to go out and but additional parts to get these cams to work? If that's the case I would keep them. Chances are the other guy wouldn't mind getting the more expensive cams if in good condition. Just call the guy up and get it over with, quit being so hard headed. JMO

1. Wayne did nothing wrong since he did not know that the cams he had were not his. When you know that something you have belongs to someone else and you keep it, that is less than honest, in my opinion.
2. It was my mistake that accidently allowed the wrong cams to be sent. I had explained it to Wayne, and he was very understanding about it. a few other parts got mixed up due to a broken shelf spilling his crate with another. 90% of all the parts got back with their original motors, but it seams I mixed up a few parts.
3. It's not a matter of the cost of the original cams. I'm not sure if those are RWR or Web or what. The point it, they belong to the other customer, and I would like to return them.
4. I can't exactly call this guy up and ask him. He is somewere in the middle east right now [I assume, his wife just said he was "overseas"].
5. Hightower said that he ordered the "special springs" to deal with the higher lift of these other cams. Without having them installed, how did he measure the lift and what was it? Team Pami cams are typicly the highest lift cams available, so these "special springs" should be perfect for the cams he ordered.
6. Hightower asked about the lift and duration, and had knowledge of the cam mistake the next day. I offered to next day the proper cams to him right away[it happened to be my day off] so he would have spent no added down time since he was still expecting other parts the next day.
I would just like to put things the way they should have been. Hightower would lose nothing and get exactly what he paid for. I made a [nother] mistake, but I could corect this one easily, but it's not being allowed to happen.

It became obvious that hightower changed his mind and decided to go with the bigger cams that he recieved. He should do the right thing and get the cams he wanted in the first place. He is using Knutz's reputation for an excuse to justify his decision.
Knutz is trying to do the right thing but if hightower won't agree to the swap he should contact the airman at least to find out what cams he was trying to get, Woods, Pami or Web.
Knutz, if Pami cams aren't marked, a local cam grinder can spec them to tell what they are. hightower may be worried about recieving mystery cams, he was expecting their sport cams.
