Can somebody please tell me the exact grind specs of all the Pami cams, sport and all the race options? Lift and duration. Thanks in advance.

Soemthing is up with their site, can't get any info. I e-mailed them, hope they reply.

 

Sport cams 270 degree duration and .406 lift
race 1 276 " " and .425 lift
Race 2 282 " " and .433 lift

 

Here's the e-mail I just got from Pami in Germany:

Hello Chris,

this are the cams we offer for the DS 650 motor (we have
several different cams more in stock, but we don`t want to
"worry" our customers).

1. sport cams - 266 degree - 10,00mm lift
2. "Pami EX" - 276 degree - 10,90mm lift
3. "599" IN - 284 degree - 11,00mm lift
4. "Pami IN" - 292 degree - 12,50mm lift
5. Stock cams -240 degree - 9,70mm lift

All values are measured at 1,0 mm valve clearance.

I just received a set of cams in the mail from Wayne - they were the cams he had in his motor when it was sent to Knutz, supposedly. Knutz sent the old cams back, along with his 11.2:1 piston which was SCRATCHED - these are the ones I was supposed to get - but they are NOT Pami cams. Their lift match Ron Wood cams A1 and A2, and Pami does not make a cam with either of these lifts. Seems Wayne did not get HIS correct stuff back!

Here's one more for ya Wayne : The piston says JE on the bottom. Does Pami get their pistons from JE here in the states? Does the Piston have 3 rings? I was told that PAMI pistons only had 2 rings.

But if you do have RW cams, thats not a bad thing. (but I see your piont)

Yeah, the piston has three rings. Its a JE - i'm sure just as good as the glorified Pami, so I'm not upset. And the cams may be Web, or RW, either way doesn't matter either. It just sucks for the original guy to be shafted like that.
