Need Pami cam grind specs PLease
#51
Its 11:00pm Monday night, I just got back from Kansas, departed from Indiana last Friday morning at 8:00am.
how did I measure the cams without installing them?? Are you kidding me?? You're an experienced motor builder?? i never said "special springs", I said I bought the Shim-under-Bucket conversion kit from Web, because they told me this was required for the lift these cams have. I'm no expert here, but hell, neither are you.
That's right mysteroid - hell yeah I'm afraid of getting mystery cams. I already made it known I can't measure duration. And will they have sprockets on them? Will the sprocket nuts be loc-tited and torqued properly? And no I cannot contact the Air Force guy - that was addressed above.
Maybe in the future Knutz could start doing business like other successful businesses do it - in a non-public environment. The first character slam was thrown by him, not me. I came on a public forum to seek information and determine what i had, and the moment I figured it out I ordered the appropriate parts I needed to use them in my motor. Knutz should've left it alone on the first page after I said have them reground, or buy new ones. Its once again another one of his mistakes, and I sure as hell am not going to be inconvenienced the slightest bit - not even 1 extra day of downtime with my bike - after so many people suffered for so many long, long months. I'm not trying to get back at anybody here - I wasn't any kind of victom - but I sure learned from what I read, and from what people i know experienced - and no way am I gonna get myslef involved with anything similiar. I would be effected, make no mistake, and if you disagree then so be it, that's fine. let's just all let this die here and now, leave it alone, to hell with it already, its over.

Hightower, sorry, my writing gets confusing. I meant that if you aren't swapping cams then Knutz should try to contact the man in the Air force. Knutz isn't completely SOL, he should have some sort of performance cams which have to be worth something to someone.
