You can have Plenty of fun with stock tires! You be able to go %95 of the places people go with paddles.

is it better with paddles? is it a LOT more fun with paddles?
I got a set of 22 razrs..I really want some paddles for there. what do you think bb?

 

If you don't plan on making several trips to dunes this year, I would not buy paddles. Those 22" Razr's you got will go anywhere paddles will. Just drop them down to around 4 psi and when climing long trails shift your wieght back(common since).

For the first year I had my DS, I used the stock Dominator's and I could go Alot of places, even wheelie at times. You 22 Razr's are ALOT better, so your set! Aslong as you don't plan on winning drag races[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

Save your money, unless like I said, you plan on making several trips. BTW, the sand is usually "heavy" that time of year, cause its the rainy season. So that is even better for you.

little sahara this is the web site, they have some pics adn info about the event, last year was my first year to go, it was the first year i had a quad, i had paddles but a few of the people with us didnt have them, and they went everywhere i went, our lead guy who leads the us thru the trail is great, he carry good speed and knows what to look for, the only thing that kinda suck was that we got there early saturday morning and we probably were about 1/4 mile for the gate to get to sand, but it was well worth it

 

the first trip down my brother-in-law ran his realtors and did ok. but the next trip down (and there is always the next trip down) he bought a set of haulers (we don't do to much side hilling) and wow what a difference, the paddles rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! spend $120 on the tires. you'r driving a 1000 miles to ride sand not mud[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
