i just got bad news my bike that has been in the shop for a year. the guy that was fixing it just DIED! my ds is in a million pieces.i can fix a top end but not a bottom.do you guys know of anyone who would work on putting the motor back together for me and how much would it cost.i live in southern california, please help anyone!

the owner of the shops wife said i could use her shop and tools,but all my friends are 2strokers or like me ride them but don't know how to fix them.

 

what shop is it at? depending on how fast you want your engine back, you can bring it to trinity and have our service department put it together, or you could take it to elliot at rwr.

 

how much would they charge for something like this?

 

call on monday and talk to harry, i only work in sales so i dont have service prices

what all needs to be done to the bottom?

 

it had a rod bearing go bad but the shop guy got the rod and crank fixed and put back together by a co. called crankwork.so, all it needs is the motor to be put back together.

the crank and the cases have been pressed? tranny put in? clutch?

i would imagine the engine is out of the bike correct? just e-mail me whatever needs to be done dunerider and ill find out as much as i can tomorrow. its only me and the parts manager working tomorrow and its usually slow so ill have plenty of time to find out
