Clutch springs:
ON DUNES - www.ondunes.com
Ron Wood - WWW.ROTAX.NET
TVI - http://www.fourstroketech.com/
TEAM PAMI - http://www.team-pami.de/ENGLISCH/index.htm

On Dunes also has the sprockets (you will want to run a 15/42 combo - 15/43 maybe a little better but, you will need a new - longer - chain for this set-up).

Smaller front sprocket will cause a loss of overall top speed but, you will be able to climb the steep dunes better.

Check out Marky's Gearing Calculator to really see what happens.

If you are looking for serious power - get the piston, cams and mild head work in addition to what was already discussed and you will have a beast that can climb any Mt.

You will want to order a UPP Chain Roller from James Lucky - Keep it with you incase your stock one fails.

I hear ya!!!

I must of missed the 6'10" part earlier. I was picturing someone of the rounder variety. Nothin wrong with 6'10" 310lbs.

From what you describe, you will have no problem throwing it around.

I turn 30 next month,,,and Im coming close to my 10 year athletic sebatical (other than riding), so I know what you mean.

Enjoy that beast!!!

I'm 6'-8", weigh 250, and look like the typical ball player.

You can ride fine with stock clutch springs and your mods, its the drag races and paddle tires that really drag and cause the slipping. Just get them in before you hit the dunes and you're okay. If you do trash a clutch, it's $70 for new fibers, so that's why I recommend the springs first - they're only $24.

Thanks Bing and HighTower. I'll check into the springs after I get through writing this post. I want to have a machine that is very dependable and strong at the same time. I think springs and gearing will work nicely with the mods. I just hope that I can get them before Wednesday of next week as that is when the bike goes in for the mods and dyno tuning.

Thanks for all the help.
