Default St. Anthony Info

Headed to St. Anthony in June. I did a search on St. Anthony and found a lot of good info. Thanks to all who posted on Hightowers threads. The BLM site stated you need an ORV sticker, which is common in most states. Where would the easiest place be to get these, and is there only the annual sticker, or do they sell temp/limited stickers?

Thanks

I go up from utah and alls they are talking about is your registration from your state and if your statee gives out stickers you have to put them on your bike visible to a ranger what ever that means.

That would be great. All my machines have current Colorado stickers. Still would like to know for sure. Will give the BLM/State folks a call tomorrow and let you know.

I have been there, and I only have the wyoming state stickers. The rangers never said a word, and I was parked next to one talking to him.

If you need to buy them, I am pretty sure you can get them at the resort if needed.

FYI, talked with the folks in the parks & rec department. This link explains it all: http://www.idahoparks.org/rec/permits_motorbike.html

Nonresident registration requirements
It is not necessary for nonresidents to purchase a motorbike sticker unless they operate more than 30 consecutive days in Idaho.
I.C. 67-7124

Sound and spark arrester requirements
Idaho law requires that no person may operate an ATV or motorbike that exceeds 96 decibels at the ½ meter test. I.C. 67-7125

All ATVs and motorbikes operated on public land are required to have a Forest Service approved spark arrester.

I wish I would fall under the (more than 30 consecutive days) rule!!!!!!!!!

Me too

I did not run spark arrestors, and I know I was not close to the decibel level requirement, but they did not harrass us.
