What is the difference between the baja and regular ds650??? i know i have noticed color, is that it?

 

Tach, hand guards, no slip foot pegs, Ohtsu Radial tires, shock covers, different graphics and colors, aux. lighting and different grips.

 

Also alum front bumper.

 

Dirt wheels says ....... the Ohotsu's are on both the Baja and the standard model now ??? is that not the case ???

 

That would be correct. I have the Ohtsu on my '03' DS. Pretty sweet tires. I really like the performance. Problem is, is that I got a cut in the side wall on the back right..... try finding those puppies at your local discount cycle store. Honda dealerships sell them, but they are very expensive!

Best thing about the '03' tire/wheel set up????? the new rolled edge of the wheel. Very difficult to find that kind of a wheel and they are VERY strong. Probably not as strong as the Baja's ringed rim, but the next best thing.... Think I might have to go with Hole shots for my next set. They are VERY READILY AVAILABLE.

No one has mentioned the redesigned A-arms on the Baja.....Very little bump steering now.

 

I think 2003 DS's come with the same arms as the BAJA.

 

They say on the site that there were something like 170 or some crazy amont of changes between the 2. Different a-arms, different bolts in some sections all sorts of crap.
