come on mark you know you were glad to run 3 or 4 times, did you give him a hole shot? it makes the wins more fun, they do run good though shell's stock engine would take them by a 1 1/2 with her on it at comp hill. they are fun to see go though. it should be a pretty good race with them and the kfx 700, from what i saw.

 

the part you missed on the cdi from the bmw is he got it off of e-bay and it was used, it has been a one time thing i think it came out of a wrecked bike. there are some woods that come up once in a while for around 150, but not often.

 

you have to smile when they come and ask for the beating you are going to put on them, there was a guy at comp at florence that made it to much fun to beat. i do like how those predators run though. well i'll let you know when we go to florence, you'll like that we can send shell out to see where everyone is at, the look on the banshees is to cool they will beat her by a little then here comes another ds and they lose time after time, but then come the bad boys and let you know you are a small fish in a big pond[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

i wouldn't worry much about the cdi until you get the ds, the rev limiter may help with learning to ride the monster, one of my thoughts on it is it has more suspension than anything out there and it takes a while for a non pro rider to learn the machine. after you learn how that suspension responds you can start to work that engine for more and it will give more. from what you will read in the magazines, you will not get a ture reading. the ds is heavy they always point this out, but it handles it's weight just fine. when you see and ask comparasions you have to realise not many mention the weight of the rider, like mark just did. put a 300 pound rider on a ds and a 150 on the predator and the predator should win. but same same the ds usually walks away there is always that freak machine, that got the best stuff. ran into a stock cannondale that was by far faster than any i have ever seen, and it was stock. unless he was running funny fuel.

 

mark they seem more concerned with the beer in the dunes right now then the noise that the riders are making. do you have a oregon number now? i would like to check out those web cams you have in your machine.
