Dead battery
#1
I once read that the ignition on the ds has a fuse somwhere could that be the reason why my batterie keeps going dead. i can ride it all day and nothing goes wrong but after a day or two of sitting in the garage the batterie goes dead. i have never had a problem like this. and where is the fuse located.

A fuse wouldn't have anything to do with your battery discharging while it's parked in the garage. It sounds like you have a low current draw somewhere in your electircal system.
do a search on the forum for "battery", you should find alot of posts about it.

The fuses are under your seat on either side of the air cleaner box. They look like weather tite plugs.
As DSDC said they will have nothing to do with the battery going dead. You could just have a bad battery.
charge it at 2 amps for 4-6 hours and remove the negative cable for a few days. If it still goes dead its your battery.
Let us know what you found
