Just thought I'd inform everyone that I purchased my DS650 from a Canadian dealer (since I live 15 mins from Sarnia). Anyhow, with the current exchange rate of nearly 45% (1 US dollar is worth 1.45 Canadian)

This boils down to...

My bike only costing $6068 US!! That leaves me with plenty of cash left for a new helmet, gloves, and who knows what else!

The dealer will give you paperwork that makes the bike export exempt...Which means NO TAXES WHATSOEVER!

Too bad I live a few thousand miles from the US/Canadian border... (I'm in Southern California) Otherwise I'd be there. Although, for a thousand dollars, maybe it's worth a road trip... :P

I live in Quebec Canada. About an hour away from where they make the DS650, and all the other bombardier products. Anyways, at my local Bombardier dealer, a new DS650 works out to $10,000 canadian even.
