better air filter, carb. jetting

 

From what I gather on the forum, it seems that a bigger carb gets positive and negative responses.....
Is this a good "next step"...If so, what kind/size works well....I've read about some kind of fuel assist device that I may need for a bigger carb. That sounds like a hassle, is it worth the efforts?

 

look into some different gearing, and a carb mount filter.

at would be the most logical next step. After that would be the carb with carb mount filter. The hsr42 or 45 would be what most go with. Me, I went went the 45 and am very, very happy with it. Did I mention that I am happy with the 45. But if you plan on going big bore eventually. Then I herd that the dual carbs are the way to go.
