Default Need help today with a 2006 KFX 80/LT 80

I took 2 front rollers out of my daughters kfx 80. i ended up ordering new rear clutches. Is it worth the time to shave them down to 180g with a stock motor or would it still help some? The only things done to it is, A front performance clutch spacer, uni filter, Boyesen reeds and the oil injection pump/gear removed for pre mix gas. Was hoping to put it back together tomorrow at the latest. Please give me your advice....

Alot of ppl have reported liking the rear shoes cut.
Yes, it'll help a stock motor.
I consider a stock LT80 to be jerky when the throttle it touched.
Cutting the shoes allows the motor to rev a lil higher before it takes off.
I feel that it's smoother.

Ok so let me get this right, Shaving the rear clutches gives you a higher RPM take off? And removing the rollers up front, does? Faster Acceleration? Sorry this is all kinda new to me. Never dealt with these little Auto quads..

Im minutes away from cuting down the new clutch shoes to 180G only Question is: the litte grove that the rubber sets in, Do i need to be carfull and not cut it back or is it not needed after shaving? i saw pics on here and it looked like they cut part of it away. Just want to be sure. Also if its not needed do the rubbers stay in or not?

I cut it off and remove the rubbers.
Rollers:::It's a combination of roller weight and rear clutch weight.
Less roller weight, more stall. More roller weight, more top end. You can use a sharpie and draw a line on the variator and run the machine. Check and see how much of the line is wore off. If it's not all wore off and you want more speed, add weight.
