Default Rear fender supports?? - revisited

where can I get some quality made fender supports that won't destroy in a roll over?
Timmy Boy used to make them, but I hear they are no longer in business. Somebody said Alba has some, true? If so, how are they - junk or worth while?
I can make some, but I'd rather buy some that are of quality springy steel that will flex, and that look good and professional.
thanks in advance.

Hightower, I bought a 1x 1/4 36" long alum. bar from Home Depot and put a 90 deg. angle in it, drilled a hole bolted it up to the frame then lined up the two fender holes the fender .The hole on the out side neede to be tilted up a little but looks cool It will never rust and will flex if I roll it. click on the camara to go to my home page to get a better look. good luck.
Hay leave us some sand at Silver lake wed. we will be there fri- sun

ALBA does carry them. I'm not sure how much or how strong they are. My brother in law got some.

i was just up at TVI yesterday and Gary has made a set up for his bikes that look good and should hold up well. he just took some flat steel about 1/2" thick and 1" wide and welded it to the frame and ran it out to the fender and drilled it and mounted it up i was looking at haveing mine done this way as well it looked very good.

Did the same thing that sam did. thge aluminum work great and is easy to bend intop shape. All you need is vicegrips and adrill.

you know the rod that frames up the stock heelguards? well its industructable and flexes. you can roll the bike and bend the fenders/guards all over the place without braking any plastic.
I wish somebody made a spring steel fender mount that will hold up like this. the mounts on e-bay are nice, and I can make those very easily, but the first time I roll the quad I'm afraid the fender tab will snap off like a twig. I guess I'll just do it, and deal with that if/when it happens - I rarely roll anyway.

i was looking at the stock headguard supports the other night why not just keep the mounting system that they have going and cut off the lower portion that you don't need with a die grinder or dremel??
