Alba exhaust, UNI carb mount filter w/ outerwear, jets, polished intake, fast trekker fronts, shredder 6ply on the back, barnett clutch springs, tusk T-7 bars, RBT racing skid plate, RBT racing heel gaurds and fendersupports. its set up pretty much for motocross, and tight woods stuff cause thats what i ride, and its the only kind of ride'n up here

You can't tighten them down to far, that is not the problem. Tighten the clutch spring bolts to 89 (INCH!!) pounds, then I would make sure that the arm on the side case is matched up with the clutch.

You have to tighten them all the way down.

right now there too tight, you cant tighten them all the way down, how are the springs sposed to work if there compressed? the guy at alba probily knows what hes talking about. there past 7.5 ft pounds he said, so im just gonna listen to him cause thats his job and im sure he knows plenty about DS clutches im gonna losen them up, and make sure there at 7.5 ft lbs and im sure they will work.

When you tighten down the bolts all the way they bottom out against the clutch basket not the springs. The guy you talked to at Alba does not know what he is talking about. (Somebody back me up here !!)

the guy at alba is an idiot, he doesn't know jack apparently.
you can't tighten them down too far. no matter how much torque you put on them, it cannot effect the tension on the springs. you'll see when you open it back up. the problem has to be in the gear/spline that the lever actuates.
I may be wrong, but it seems like the torque spec is 89 in/lbs in the manual.
Inch lbs. devided by 12 = foot lbs.
