i bought my ds yesterday, and on the way home filled it up with regular unleaded...is that ok? i didn't really think about it, but what gas does everyone recommend, and is the regular that i fill my truck with harmful? thanks

 

91 octane or better is recommended.

 

You want to run super unleaded for sure. I run "76" 100 octane unleaded in mine.

 

That thing is going to run like cr@p. I would drain it and re-fill with premium if I were you

 

no big deal happens all the time to me because every one I ride with uses regular. I don't notice a differance.

i run methanol, but before i switched i used 93

 

don't worry about the gas we'll get some race gas as we pass thru florence then we can drain some and mix in some race, that will bring the octane back up. that is if you can wait that long to ride[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] got the paddles out for you, you may have to race alex for them he wants the haulers for his honda[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] well can't wait to help you break that thing in, i'll bring the camera. hey you should look into the tent trailer out back you would have the summer camping covered then. i don't think anyone has used that thing since 98. oh isn't that going to hurt your duck pride riding a orange and black machine?

 

I'll be there too!!! I'll meet you guys out there, what kind of a rig should I look for? Breaking in two Ds's on the same day wow. My girlfriend will be there to, she rides a warrior and is a beginng rider but she does ok. Sounds like a great time if the weather holds.
