Default Piston & cams?

What do you guys recommend for piston & cams for my 02 baja? I want to keep it reliable yet give a little more kick. Also I run race fuel so compression is not an issue. And I also want to keep the stock carb.

ron woods it is a easy bolt together, i ran the stock carb for a while and was very pleased, i'm getting the 45 better tuned but it just seemed snappier with the 42. plus there easy to work with. i know dsmike gets great things out of his woods products, and from reading these forums no one seems to see problem later down the road

What do you guys think of the kit that Alba Action has? It's a JE piston and Web cams. It claims 5 hp at the rear wheels.

It's $949 for piston, cams, springs, & retainers. Not sure on the ron woods.

You can get the same kit from TVI including new clutch springs which you are going to need for that much!

i don't think tvi has problems with heads sealing gary has put a lot of work into sealing the head i think he is the one that started the o-ring on the ds to seal the head, plus he has stronger head bolts. he is another good place i think you could get a j&e piston and web cams from gary and be less than 900, if you check some guys have a few left over parts also

The price for the Alba kit includes a $275.00 core on the cams.
