Default 770 raptor or 830 baja

Well guys I just bought my wife a scrambler 500, I inherted her baja 650.
Now I have a problem, do I continue on my raptor or do I start from scratch
and invest in the baja. I already have a sh*&%*tload of money invested in the raptor
but nothing beats the ride of a baja. Tell me guys what would you do?....

No kidding you have a $hit load invested in your Raptor. How much Mothers does it take to polish that thing? Have both. I would like to see what your DS would look like with the same amount of money into it that you have in your Raptor.

Congrats!!

I think the 830 kits are impossible to get now days, but you have MANY other engine combo's to play with for SPEED! I think it would be COOl to get a DS down to 400lbs,and around 80 honest h.p. IT would be the ultimate Duner!

Have fun, and good luck.

Bigger.

I have alot of connections in Europe. I could probally sneak (smuggle) one in thru Italy.
I'm continously importing " marble" and have access to this motor through my vendors.
But who do I trust to put this engine together. And is it worth it? What do I do if something
goes wrong?

Marbleous, dude i cannot go into details , but with whatever you get to make your bike any faster i still will match as many benjamins as you have in your pocket with you on your DS OR RAPTOR.... my bike will be up and running by the weekend.. let me know when you get a taste for a sand-wich and i will be there.. or we can go to the speedway..... LET ME KNOW if you think my bike was fast last time you should see it with a fresh clutch and a non-leaking head gaskit and non-overheating motor and of course all the new stuff ive been tampering with

i've ran a few 770 raptors and they don't seem wow fast, my stage two has had a few. so you could probably get by with say a 720 kit and if you really want to hurt them, a 760 should do the trick, and there is parts for those.

The 770 and the 830 have a lot of stroke - can't rev out like a 760 or a 727.

The 760 and the 727 are probably better NOs bikes (what do you guys think?)

Pami is the way to go as far as the DS 760.

Well if you want to go a different route, I could help you get stupid fast for about 1/3 what it would cost for a full race 760 using the funny gas. I never got to complete my plans because I ran out of money and lost the quad but I guarentee you reliability and some insane speed. Let me know if you are interested.
