Default Help...Ball joints

I need some assistance.... I was loading my 2000DS last night and I noticed my upper left ball joint is sloppy. The nut is tight, the cotter key is still there and the clip is ok. Is this ball joint on a taper or a non linear spherical ball? Any info will be great. I am trying to get out to 339 ave to do some testing today but I am concerned about the sloppy joint. Hopefully I won't have to take it apart out there.

Thanks people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would say you have a worn out ball joint and needs to be replaced.

Default Help...Ball joints

Did you have any luck finding the ball joints. I have found them at the dealer only for $ 94 %*$^$%$ Hoping to find somewhere else cheaper.

Default Help...Ball joints

Hey Laydawg... I actually got lucky. A friend of mine toasted his A-Arm a while back so I robbed a couple of Ball Joints from his old A-Arms since he went aftermarket.

Sorry I coulden't help...
