Default Kazuma 50 idle

Hi, just wondering if anyone has any idea how to fix this. My Daughters 50 has been used once and I am trying to adjust the idle per the instructions. Here is the issue; I can adjust it to idle well with the choke on, but when the choke is off, she dies. If I try and adjust the carb and hit the throttle she will race up and very very slowly return to idle, but will not be the same rpm as it was before the throttle increase. I just keep adjusting away but never get a "good" idle. And once the throttle is pressed, it just ramps way up and returns down very slowly. Once in a while, it will just ramp up and stay there too.

Thanks all,
Mortis...

I had a very similar problem one time with a bike I had in the store. When I took the card a part I found that one of the vents in the bottom of the bowl in the carb was clogged. I am not sure if this is the same thing wrong with your bike but it was doing the same thing. I could not get it to idle right. It was up and down then it would die ect... If you would like to give me a call I can tell you how to check and clean the carb once you have it off the bike. The easy why out is to buy another carb!!!! But all in all it's not hard to clean!!!

So what you are saying is, it would be cheaper to buy another quad.

Thank you for your time Sir.

Just to let you and everyone else know, I cleaned the carb and it runs great now. You really know your stuff. Thanks for the help and I have a few friends kickin around buying the big K's or Y's. Trying to send them your way. Any chance of a little better price if they buy both at the same time?

Thanks again,
Mortis...
