Need a shp/repair manual
#1
I have Motorcycle/ATV repair experience and a lot of my buddies are bringing their Yamotos to my house to fix or upgrade and I can't find specs or manuals anywhere. Most of the repairs are non warranty items that they broke or abused. There is no-one in my area that even has an idea how to fix these. I even thought about trying to become a certified repair tech through Yamoto but no one replies to me. I need to know where to get Carb rebuild kits and jets, Tourque specs, fuel mixtures, etc and the rear ends and drive unit rebuild instructions on this stuff. Anyone know where I can get some. None of the yamoto dealers around here do repairs they just get new parts from Yamoto and thats not what I need. These guys are looking to fix it and go so they can break it again. I know this stuff is rebuildable and fixable because I have had to rejet-rebuild 2 -110's already and they run great even without the right specs
Any help would be great

Welcome to the forum Bigdaddy79, I wish you luck in your search. I have not even been able to find a spec to set a valve to. I went with honda spec for their small thumpers. I would think that a honda manual may be your best bet. A shop manual seems like a simple enough request, just not sure one exists.

Thanks so much for the help.......every Yamoto person I talk to including the factory website acts like I am doing something wrong by wanting to work on these. If its out of warranty or it is the owners fault then I should be able to fix these things to factory specs.. There is no one I have been able to find in the tampa area that works on these and knows what they are doing. The Big 3 dealers really do not want to work on them and if they do then it costs more because they do not know how to fix it either. It has been very frustrating..I do not like rigging things..
Thanks again!!!!!!!!!
Thanks again!!!!!!!!!

No problem Bd79, This has been a source of frustration for me too. Dont understand how you can make something mechanical and not offer a shop manual for it.What are the dealers supposed to do? It is not like these things are the most reliable ohv's in the world either. I feel real sorry for any one who gets one of these and has no mechanical knowledge. It is a struggle for some with mechanical knowledge from what I have read in this forum.
