Default help from anyone at raceway

1st I purchased an atv from an unauthorized dealer, I think its a 2004 Yamoto Atv110. Where is the Vin for verification? The certificate of origin is from Winspeed Ind. Inc. 2nd I found this out trying to get it repaired by them. The atv runs and performs well for 15-20 mins., after this point from an idle with a slow acceleration of the throttle the atv bogs down. If you make it past that point, it will run fine at a high rpm. Checked the gas cap seems vented ok. Also trying to verify cert. is correct so I can order parts if needed.

Welcome to the forum Agu01, Winspeed was the Yamoto importer for a while and may still be so its highly possible that you have a Yamoto. Have you ever cleaned the carb? VIN should be stamped on the front horizontal bar across the front of the machine. WINXCGZH is the first 8 letter in my wifes yamoto's vin. Also you cant go wrong asking John at Raceway for help. Raceway , I will call for help, thanks for being a generous dealer. I'm in central time zone so I am an hour behind. Whats the latest you take calls after 3pm until? I will be looking to purchase a new rear fender.

Took carb apart and cleaned. It was very clean already. Tried all notches on the needle, fouled a couple of plugs doing so. The carb was actually tuned in perfect before I took it apart and readjusted it. Same thing happens, atv runs fine idle and acceleraing 15-20min. when the engine is good and warm it bogs down accelerating from an idle, will run fine at a higher rpm. Are these enginesjust not made to run long? What is recommended riding time before allowing engine to cool? Or is there any known problems with the coil overheating on these atvs?

Did your ATV come with a in-line fuel filter? If not take the fuel line off and check for any obstructions in it. Some of the fuel tanks will have little black plastic flakes that will get into the fuel filters and fuel lines and clog them up. Check that first. Before you start on the electrical components.

Good Luck

SB.

Thanks for the advice symb05. No it doesn't have a fuel filter, the very first time it had these symptoms, I drained the tank thinking it could have had water. Anyhow took the advice and checked the fuel line, it was clear.
