will the piston for a ct70 work in a yamoto 70 atv? If so what year piston would i need or are they all the same? The bore and stroke of the 2 are identical as is the piston pin diameter. This would help in getting parts in the future...thanks in advance

 

It should, 99.9% sure. I would say 1991-1994 CT70.

 

I can find old (70s) ct 70 pistons all day long but am having trouble finding one from the 90s. Does anyone have a way to check part numbers to see if they are all the same?

THANK YOU!!! parts 2 had it for 29 bucks shipped...You as well as Raceway are pretty high on my list right now[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] I'll keep everyone posted, I was gonna order yamoto parts but with the lawsuit an all i didnt know how much longer parts would be available so hopefully doing my homework will pay off.

Make that 100% 91 ct70 piston works perfectly...honed the cylinder to honda specs and it runs like a champ...hope this helps others as well.
