steestar,

Sorry to hear that your Jetmoto 200 is not working out too well for you. Hopefully you bought it from Raceway.
If you can, post your experience that you have had with your quad in the Kids Quads & Other ATVs forum. There is someone there looking to buy 2 Jetmoto 200's. They are looking for people who own them and how they have performed for them.

JAH,

If I were you I would quit jumping your Jetmoto 150. If you can PM 2manytoys and ask him if you should be jumping that quad. He will explain what I am talking about and what to look for.

Have a good one.

SB.

its 06..for the price its worth it and an ok atv, im just saying if you hanve the extra $ id go for a more reliable and well known company. they take more time when building the ATV's then the china dealers. also, this is my first quad, idk how durable there surposed to be. over all the jet moto 06 is a nice beginner quad, but i just think for 07 they should concentrate more on durability of the atv

Welcome to the forum steestar! If you dont mind me asking, what particular problems have you had with your Jetmoto 200? They arent perfect, but I dont think they are a piece of crap either. And Jetmoto is constantly making changes to their quads based on feedback from customers just like you. So any suggestions you can make will be appreciated. Based a lot on customer suggestions, the '07 200 is a different quad than this years. It has a 5" longer wheel base and a different swingarm/rear shock arrangement. The rear shock is mounted lower and farther forward than where it is now. The front end gets adjustable a-arms and the frame will be powder coated instead of painted. There are a few more changes to but I cant remember them all off the top of my head.

problems- fans broken 2 times, front left spindal grinded down, started motor gears gringed down so it doesnt make contact to the motor anymore, headlights fell off, chain constantly falls off( even after tightening it), battery leaked acid and fried the wires. other than that its been a nice beginners quag for me

Thats a real bummer steestar. I found your other post this morning too. I must have missed it last nite by only clicking on todays new topics and not the Jetmoto Forum. Im not sure what the deal is with the front spindle, the starter gears, or the fried battery. Did you get these things taken care of yet? Were they covered under warranty? Im really curious about the fried battery and starter problems, waht actually caused that? The chain falling off has been experienced by a few owners and I just gave prototype chain guides for the 125/200 and the 150 quads to Eugene. Im not sure how long it will take for those to be available though. The fan is (IMO) a stupid idea and more of a novelty item than anything. I definitely dont thnk its necessary. I also dont think its on the new models either.

ya i dont think the fan is necessary either. and it is certainly not worth 50$. as for the friend battery, we dont kno what the problem was. i talked to jon from raceway and he sudgested it might have been that the voltage regulator had came out of place. And as far as the started, no clue. just didnt work one day. i think for 07 they should come with backup kickstarters as well. that would be great. i also think jetmoto should look into making bigger quads. 250's, 350's, 450's etc. just a few ideas for 07 but i really really think the backup kickstarter would be a great modification

$50.00 for the fan?? That is ridiculous!! Is everything working correctly again? Or are you waiting for parts?

The '07 200 Jetmoto is a little different. And they are trying to come out with a full size Adult 250 Sport quad in '07 also. i should be getting a early release prototype by the end on sept. I will do everything in my power to break it, so improvements can be made before it is released for production.
