thanx 4 the welcome. Just a lil history; I just starting riding again after many yrs. Im in my 40's now, i used to ride alot in my youth yrs. but life just becomes busy w/ important responsibilities which leaves this fun sport hung in the closet. So, now i seem to have more time on my hands & said to myself "im gonna start riding again" so i looked into purchasing a new/used Quad. They R expensive, the name brands atleast. So, i starting researching the China made quads, which R affordable. and w/ that i went w/ the best China bike out there " JetMoto". I'm sure i'll go w/ something bigger when im comfortable. Hopefully Jetmoto will get into bigger quads. But, im happy w/ this 150.
to answer your Q. re: size of jumps. maybe 3- 4 footers.

JAH,
The quad is a 2005 Boreem 150. Stock shocks. The mods did improve the performance of the quad.
Although the mods increased the performance of the quad, this was not my intent.
I replaced the pipe first because the stock silencer on the quad was not USFS approved. Second, I did the air filter mod for my convenience in air filter change outs. The stock filter was placed underneath the fuel tank requiring me to remove tank each time. Mod now allows me easy access to filter without removal of tank. Third, I had to rejet the carb due to the air filter mod. The quad was running very lean. With the rejet of the carb, this eliminated my cold start and idling issues that I was having with the quad.
So, all in all, after all the mod's, the quad runs 100% better than when I purchased it.
Hope this answers your questions. If you have any others, just ask.
Good Luck and take care. Glad to hear your JetMoto is working out for you.

yup, everything working again. the only thing im waiting on is a fan but idc about that it does nothing. for the 07 250 sport, do you have any idea how much it will cost? i was thinking about getting a trx 250 next summer, but if i can save a grand or 2 by buying the JM250 that'll be great.

I had to dig pretty deep for this thread. Do you still have the 150 JAH? Steestar is the 200 still running?
The wife and I went camping last weekend and we took the 200 and the 150. The wife and I rode around for a couple of hours going in 2 different directions until she didnt like the looks of the trail anymore. After she was done riding I went back, on the 150 to see how far I could make it up the trail. In both cases if I could keep the rear end from hanging up I could keep moving forward. Not going real fast, thats for sure, but the 150 was pretty impressive except for the one time i got hung up on a rock under the rear end. After that I picked lines to keep the rear end out of trouble and kept the throttle pinned. Both of these trails were covered with rocks and mud. Im headed back up to this area in late Dec. and will try even more trails. I will have the 180cc kit installed by then, and the CVT mods. That should be big fun. i have had my daughters jetmoto150 for a week now and all in all it is a great bike but i have expierienced some serious carb issues nobody seems to be able to tell me exactly what size carb and jets are suppose to be in it, i think from what i have read on various forums it should be a 30mm anyhow i finally got it to run pretty good need to change primary jetting. it falls on its face if you crack throttle wide open from a dead stop but if you ease into throttle then crack it open itll stand striaght up into a wheel stand and the cvt makes it real easy to ride on the back two. i ran it on a friends mx track and it seemed to ride out great i was hitting 12 foot doubles "top to top" and it was landing and handling great considering the narrow rear i would definetly advise spacers for the quad

Welcome to the forum dirtfighter!
You can use the same jets recomended for the 250 sport. I wish i had those jet numbers with me but the last month of my life has been very hectic and I have lost all my documentation on jets. The info is most likely in the 250 Sport thread in this section.
Thanks for the input and keep us informed with your success/problems if you would.

i understand i can go bigger on the jets but i still think they should have a 30mm on them i have also found that the keihin carbs that come on some of the 07's from china are not the same as american type keihins now that being said if you have a deni carb the you should be able to goto your local bike shop and get jets for a keihin and they will fit in the deni "deni is sister comapny of keihin" i think one of the biggest problems is altitude so jetting will be different from place to place and for your average rider wouldnt notice a difference but for some of us that have been around the block we notice these things. i really want to let folks know that if it sounds like i am ******* these bikes im not with my last post i still stand and say for the money yes yes buy the jm150 just keep a few bucks back for jetting and you have a great machine. ps 30mm performance carbs are selling for about 150 on various websites and you can prolly find a good used mikuni 30mm for around 100 bucks. and i promise once i get this bike dialed in ill repost with the numbers and my altitude which i think im in the 800-1000ft asl range ill get out the gps and check for sure later. also it is a good idea to check your valve clearance a few folks i have talked to said the exhaust was tight any how i goto go for now ill be back later with more news and reports and id be willing to bet a jm 150 still in top shape
