I need help I am thinking of buying the jetmoto 150 has any one got one of these an can you tell if they are any good or not. I had a yamoto 150 an it was juck. the dealer took it back an told me they were having trouble with them. I do not want to make the same mistake.

The new JetMoto 150's are supposed to be pretty good. They are much better than Yamoto. A few guys here have them and I should have mine by wed. smb05 posted a torture test on his 150 and it held up great. If you order one get it from Raceway. This way you know you will have no problems with service after the sale. I have been through alot of these chinese quads and they are getting much better.

Welcome to the forum bigdog2069, I have a '04 Yamoto 150 and a '06 Jetmoto 150, and the Jetmoto is light years ahead of the Yamoto. Better suspension, brakes, and quality of build. I cant think of one area that hasnt been improved, it even has reverse. If you can use a manual clutch Id recomend getting the 200. Its got quicker acceleration sounds real nice too. If you have any more questions feel free to ask.

MWQ,

How is the JM150 holding up? I should have mine tomarrow and also have a DC90 supposed to be here Thursday. Just about everything that I have read says the Jm150 is a great little quad.

2manytoys, The 150 I have only has a few minutes on it. But I did get 2 for a guy I know, and his daughters must have 20 plus hours on each of them so far. And both are running perfect, no problems other than a flat tire. The suspension is the same as the 200 and works great, especially compared to earlier chinese quads.

I've been reading into the Jetmoto's for a while now. i went to a warehouse in SF to look at one (where they were selling mattresses and other junk in the same warehouse). in my opinion it was worse than the Kragen ones. I jumped on one and it felt like a remote control car suspension. Sounded like plastic against plastic. now that was about year ago so maybe it has improved. But on a scale from one to ten, lets say ten being a new Yamaha Breeze 125, honestly how does the Jetmoto 150 stand? Me being new to this hobby, I don't know enough about working on the bikes to troubleshoot things breaking in the middle of the dunes or on a trail. Do you need to know how to work on these to make this a good buy? If for the same price, how would the Jetmoto 150 rate against the Yamaha Breeze for instance? Thanks

By the way MWQ, I read another post from you about 6 months ago and you stated that these are not good choices for people who do not work on ATVs or small engines. With the improvements that you have seen, is that still a valid statement?
Thanks

Hi jdr00ejr, I have been involved with Jetmoto since I went to their new warehouse in late march. I did get a 200 quad to do assy instructions for John at Raceway in mid feb. After Eugene at Raceway heard I was a machinist, he wanted to meet me and see if I was interested in helping him with a few things. I have seen the older Jetmoto quads and can understand your concerns. They werent very impressive at all. The current shocks were designed by Works Performance and then made in china. They are a decent set of shocks, especially compared to the early chinese stuff. You will need some mechanical skills to get the quad asembled/adjusted but after that I dont see any problems like the early Yamotos. I dont mean to pick on Yamoto but I actually own one and there fore use it for comparison purposes only. Like I have said before these quads are light years ahead of the early chinese offerings. As far as comparing them to a new Breeze I really cant say. I have ridden a about a5 yr old breeze and it doesnt have anything on the Jetmoto 150. Sorry for rambling and if I didn answer any of your questiuons please ask me again.

I have no rattling noises from my Jetmoto 150. My chain was tight from the factory(like all of them have been that I have put together) I adjusted it a little before riding it.
