Anyone know if the bolt pattern is 4/110 for the rims. Mine is up north, I can't measure it right now.
I ended up driving to Canadian tire and measuring one, It is 4/110

i have had 2 wilderness 250s for a couple of years. i went to change the plugs and noticed they were a different number then what the owners manual says.
they are supposed to have DR7TC and they had DR8TC.
i emailed baja and they told me i could use Denso spark plugs (X22EPR-U9)
could not get this and cross refrence this with NGK (DRP7EA-u9).
this seems to work good for me.
the spark plug for the 250 bear tracker is dr7ea , so we could probaly use it .
what do you guys use?

To anybody with any advice................we have a 2007 Baja 250. The atv has been great for over a year. But now, the transmission will not shift down to neutral and there is no first gear. does that indicate that the transmission is going out? You can pull start it in 2nd. One guy, Dave Crash, who had a blog said that he took the right side motor cover off and there was a piece of metal, he removed it, and it fixed the problem. We are reluctant. We use the bike on the ranch mostly for irrigating, working prairie dogs and foxtail, chasing some errant cows, and chopping ice on the pond in winter. It has been wonderful for those chores. It has even started consistently in winter. Even though it is not used hard, it is used consistently. Any ideas? We do not want to tear into it if we have no clue and we are in a rural area where most mechanics would scoff at our chinese cheapy. We have a yamaha 350 warrior, got it on a deal, but this one works much better for our needs. The yamaha is a pain with the clutch when getting on and off alot within about 20 yards and it is very hard to start. A really cold machine. Once warm, it is good to go, but it is sure not the hop on and go bike like we need here on the ranch. A 250 is really all we need for what we do on 110 acres with a small herd of about 60. Any ideas how to fix that cold start problem too? Just seeking advice if anybody has any ideas. Thanks.

Sounds like the 'automatic clutch' just needs adjusting. ALL clutches 'wear'.

If this unit is like 'most' Chinese auto clutches;
On the right side of the engine - there should be a 3" by 2" oval cover with four 8mm bolts. Remove cover. There should be a 'slotted screw head' with a 'lock nut' around the base of it. NOTE the position of the slotted screw head. Put a screw driver in the slot, then loosen the lock nut about 1/2 turn, holding the screw slot where it is. Now, loosen (counter clock wise) the slotted screw 1/4 turn. Hold screw in new position, and tighten locknut. Test Drive it a little ways. If not fixed - loosen another 1/4 turn. Repeat as necessary. When done re-install cover plate.
