Yeah, I'm unsure how much drag is on dynos, but they definately have some or the engine would over rev too quickly.
I really can't wait to get my dad on one of these. It's gonna be pretty funny watching him try to keep getting dirty. =)

Since 00XJ gets 50 mph out of a 14 tooth sprocket. Ill bet wound up to thr rev limiter or close. I cant believe you couldnt get over 70 mph with a 17 tooth sprocket. Given the right conditions of course. Nice tail wind, etc...

Yeah, maybe a tail wind of nitrous oxide! lmao
It's possible man. I wouldn't want to go 70 on one though. I'm very happy with 45. Plenty fast for me.
I hope jetmoto shipped everything out today! I can't wait until I can talk about all this less, and do what I'm talking about more.

My 250 Sport has the jet kit, and the 14 tooth sprocket, and it will do 50 mph. That is with a 130lb. 15 year old riding it. Oh, and that is with 22" rear tires.</end quote></div>
Thanks for the input 00XJ, i was just estimating. Have you clocked your sons 250 at 50 mph?</end quote></div>
I'm basing the speed from the speedo on my Polaris. That was on a paved "street" in an industrial park. It was on the weekend so there was no traffic back in there.
The 250 will run with me, and even pull away some. At least it does when he can ride it. Of course the Polaris Hawkeye isn't known as speed demon anyway, but it sure has a plush ride, good for us old folks.

I spend a lot of time in the SpinZone here and for a while everyone had a CareBear author Icon. This particular Care Bear is the one my oldest son made his favorite. About 20 years ago.
