Vbike 250 v4s
#341
Took the plunge this week and have spoken to Tim 4 or 5 times--He has always been polite and now we have 3 machines on order --(2) 250 V4S and (1) 150 V3--I hope we will be as excited as you all and will post the second they arrive.
We thought about Arctic Cat or Honda but I simply could not get beyond buying 3 machines for less than 1/2 the price of AC or Honda.
Cannot wait until they arrive

Welcome to the forum ATV Family.
Congratulations on your purchases. Be sure to take your time setting up the ATVs, if you do it will pay off. Use blue loctite on all the fasteners. Hopefully you have read through alot of this thread and know what to expect with MIC ATVs. I have had two of them for over a half a year now and all is good.
Let us know how things go for you.

We have had my wife's V-bike 150 (tao tao 150B) since last spring. My wife loves driving it as well as my kids. They like it a lot because there is no shifting involved. It did have some problems. One was the swing arm bushings were shot after only a small amount of driving. Also one of the top welded nuts that hold the axle to the swing arm broke free. The nut also holds the axle centered in the hole and holds the axle straight. We had problems with the chain jumping off all the time and these two things were the culprit. Tim sent me new swing arm bushings with no problem. I rewelded the nut back into place. I went ahead and welded all the 4 nuts, they are only spot welded in two spots which seemed a little weak to me. We also have to remember to turn off the fuel when not in use otherwise the fuel will leak into the chamber and hydrolock the engine, sometimes even get into the oil. Would I buy another V-bike? Yes. Still cannot complaine about the price. It always starts and runs great when we are out playing. Now that the chain is not skipping it pulls hills that I never thought it would be able to pull. It is a lot of fun for the family. Good luck and keep us posted on your experances. Ghcoe.

Hey Thanks ColoradoTrail...:
We live in broomfield and cannot wait to get to IMI in Dacona as well as bringing them up to Breck and riding them up at the trails on Tiger Run Road.
Will be in touch as we build the 3 new machines

Hey ATV Family, I live in Thornton and a great place to ride close to home is up behind Central City. There is a huge trail system up there.
Make sure you get your OHV stickers for the ATVs, I have seen the Park Rangers looking for them.

Hey CTR:
Received all (3) unirts today at 11:30am (not bad s the delivery window was 11 to 3:00pm !!!)
Anyway--used 2 bottles of blue loctite--had to drill a few holes to help line up the bolts on some the trim (the foot peg areas--mesh and fender splash guards)
Most of the bolts were tight--checked many of them and will continue to re-check --especially during break in period--found 1 missing cotter pin and 1 or 2 nits that needed tightening and that was for all 3 units--not bad !!!
The fit and finish were much better than expected. the engines are all running smoothly and my 9 year-old daughter was up and riding her 150cc Auto as soon as she got off the school bus today. Had her riding for about 30-45 minutes very slowly in order to break the engine in slowly.
The 250's went together very smoothly with no problems. All 3 units electrical harnesses were easy to figure out (color coded) and all 3 engines strted up quickly and ran great.
Plan on going up to a friends house in Erie (5 acres of property to run around on) Will continue to use the forum and you guys have all been great.
We were a big hit in the neighborhood today and to think for the price of a 1/2 of one Brand name ATV--we now have 3 great ATV's for the family.
Talk to you guys:
John
