Just looking at the post counter mywifesquad 30,562 tells others how long he has been around these boards message boards. Mywifesquad has helped 100's of posters with atv mechanical issues on all makes and models over the years and has always been unbiased from the posts I've read.

With all that said its tough times out there in the economy some regions have been hit harder! Heck we maybe loosing one of the largest auto manufacturers in the world (GM) if things don't get better!

Now as your reasons for the Raceway board being shut down you are now going have to back up your comment "due to a proliferation of complaints from irate customers lately"
I and many found it very useful as there was lots of tips and tricks on there for atv owners of all brands.


As I said before all the bikes are basically the same its just how they are spec'd out from the factory and how they are sold over here that is the diff. If your're Vbike was a good deal and runs great I'm glad to hear it... happy quading!

 

I am sold on the displacement already. I am going 250cc. I just need to decide if it is Vbike or Jet Moto...it looks like the Vbike is cheaper. I called Tim yesterday and he said the new Vbikes have better chains on them compared to last years model. Biskit, I had watched all your vids before I found this site. You are in the same state I think (NC). Where can I get a Jet-Moto besides Raceway?

Well, if he is at work his headquarters my be in San Jose. If you look at mine it might say Sunnyvale but I am far from it.

That is incorrect. They(Raceway) decided not to have a preferred vendor forum (which is not exactly cheap on a monthly basis) this year and therefore it was removed. I wish some of the info and irate customers ( which I don't remember to much of on the Raceway forum) could have been saved but you have to pay to keep a preferred forum. I don't have a clue about what Raceway is doing now nor do I care but in the past I thought they would have been a good place to purchase a Chinese quad if that was your need.


KentuckyDonkey as far as I can see with two checks is in KY.


MWQ has helped countless forum members and I have great respect for him and his knowledge with ATV's and dirtbikes. KentuckyDonkey if you are going to rattle his cage beware of his power here on this forum and he will have my backing.

Hmmmm...what have I stumbled upon here? All this intrigue about San Jose, just because I gave an opinion that I liked Vbike slightly better than Jetmoto, and because I have a negative opinion of Raceway due to what I've been seeing on the net.

O-K, I'll bite: What is the significance of San Jose? Is there some competing inmternet dealer there or something? (Can't be Vbike, as they're in OK.)

Isn't San Jose the corporate HQ of Ebay? Now that's a co-inky-dink, as I used to be a professional Ebayer (NOT of ATVs, but rather of commercial trucks).

So please enlighten me, what is going on here? I come on a forum and give my honest opinion about some things, and all of a sudden I have people acting like I let one rip at an audience with the pope.

And to my critics: Please stop saying that I'm trashing Jetmoto- I am NOT! I agree that all the MICs do use various arrangements of common components- and I think that both Jet and Vbike happen to make very good choices of which components to use. I don't even know if Jet sells their products directly to consumers- but I do know that Vbike does...and that they provide good service (as I'm sure Jet does too)

And as for this nonsense about Raceway closing their forum because of expense- if that were the case, why didn't they simply switch to a free venue, such as Proboards or similar?

And now I'm curious and doing some research- is this Raceway ATV of South Amboy, NJ. the same as Raceway ATV in Staten Island?

Looks like you guys are opening up a can of worms- simply because you could not simply acknowledge that Raceway treated at least one poster here like crap after the sale.
