KentuckyDonkey someone has hijacked your IP [img][/img]
I knew it was wrong but
dnsstuff shows you as being in
San Jose, California
I think I would rather be there as to where I am at which is quite near you[img][/img]</end quote></div>
Nawww....no one's hijacked my IP- there are just some bad IP look-up services out there that seem to peg virtually any US IP as being from CA. or NJ. (Of all places)- I tried it on several look-up...they all come back to KY.
Hey, be thankful we're not in CA. or we'd have to be limited to buying ATVs that are clogged up with all kinds of emission control! (And be damn thankful we're not in Jersey!!!)

This is a very entertaining thread to say the least. I find myself checking it often to see what the next reply will be.[img][/img]</end quote></div>
I wish I knew what this San Jose business was all about- I'd play along with them and drive 'em nuts!
I'm finding this very entertaining myself! (I just love it when people can't support their positions and resort to ad hominem attacks- especially strange ones, where I don't even know the significance of what they are saying!

Dam we are practically neighbors (About a 100 miles the way the crows fly) and I have visited Mammoth Cave ever since I was a little kid in the sixties when they let you walk through on your own without guides. We stayed in the little cabins in the 70's that I think were built in the 30's but there all gone now. I even purchased artwork there for my mother in aprox. 1979 from the big main building but its gone too

I think MWQ was hoping you were in Cal so he could go over to your house and kick your ***!
Just kidding, Jetmoto will fly him to Kentucky!
To give my honest opinion of the whole Jetmoto experience:
It was fun to receive 4 new atv's in their crates. Jet uses a nice looking printed box unlike the other Chinese brands so instantly I felt I was getting somewhat quality built atv's. Unboxing and assembly was smooth with no damage and no missing parts unlike other Chinese atv stories I had read on here!
All 4 jets are still in good working order today which is two years later. I have posted all my problems, mods, photos and videos on my site for all to see. I have not sugar coated any of it! Neither Jet or Raceway has paid or treated my better for putting up my site, I really have not even heard feed back from them good or bad about it!

Back when I was looking to buy my atv's Vbike was not even in existence. I looked at Rocketa's, Viva's, Jet's, cool(something) and all the other brands.
I liked the Honda Ex clone (sold under so many names) but the price was too much at $2000 at the time.

Now having seen the Vbike v4 I really do like the looks better then the Jet small as they are. I think they are built with the same quality and even use the same parts a lot. So far I have read on here issues they have had that is similar to the Jets. I have not heard of decal problems yet like the Jets have and I do like their graphics. The one thing that I really like is the price tag. If they had been out back in 2007 I think I might be riding V's today at least for the 250's!

Thanks- but I'll edit it out after a while. (If anyone wants to use it to mess with me, well...then, I'll just consider them fair game, and have some fun with them at their expense, with no regrets! )
I'm curious now- have you tried plugging in some known IPs to that DNSstuff site, to see if it returns accurate results with them?
I've lived here 7 years, and have never been to Mammoth Cave!!(and it's barely 40 minutes from me) I tend to favor off-beat places- Lived in NY for 39 years, and have never been to the Statue of Liberty*, but I'm probably in a small minority of NYers who have walked around Roosevelt Island. [*= I still can't believe the French gave that to us. They were probably throwing it out anyway....]

KD unless someone try's to mask there IP it usually comes up correct.
I don't use that site but use 3 or 4 to see if a match occurs but your one of the few that throws a curve ball

I love your site, Outofline! You take some darn nice pics! Very well done, easy to navigate and professional looking. One of the nicest "individual's" sites I've seen.
I have to agree, if Vbike were not around, I would have gone with Jetmoto, too. I consider both Vbike and Jet to be in a league above the rest of the Chinese imports.
Back when I was a kid, I worked for a Chinese guy who used to import plumbing supplies ('bout the only actual job I ever had)- Technically he was Taiwanese- but back then, Taiwan was still a part of China (R.O.C.).
I got to see first hand, that although Chinese-made goods did seem to suffer from poor or erratic quality control; the importer/dealer importing and selling identical items as someone else, could make all the difference in the world.
For instance, my boss's landlord around the corner was in the same business, and he didn't last too long...had tons of irate customers..constant returns, etc. He was just in it to make a quick buck. Unloaded the trucks and sold the merch and that was it.
On the other hand, my boss, who was selling identical stuff, is still in business to this day. He'd check his merchandise carefully and try and make sure that no defective stuff went out the door. If he got a shipment that seemed to contain a lot of bad pieces, he would not sell it. And when his customers did have a problem, he wouldn't act like it was a strange thing. He'd take care of it, and often use it as a heads-up to alert him to bad stock. He was on top of things- and if he started repeatedly getting bad stuff from one manufacturer- he'd switch to another.
So it was possible to buy XYZ brand valves from one business, and get junk...while someone who bought from my boss's place around the corner, ould get something good. It was the exact same item...but one seller tried to weed out the bad stuff and would stand behind his customers if they had a problem.
And let me say, I think Chinese manufacturing and quality control have improved dramatically since I worked in the plumbing supply pl;ace 25 years ago, if these bikes are any indication.
All my life "Chinese motorcycles" were the brunt of jokes and a catch-phrase for "shoddy junk that falls apart"- but i think, based on these bikes, that they are soon going to be giving the Japs competition for market share.
I am really impressed by what $1300 can buy in one of these bikes. (And with a couple of tubes of red Locktite, they might not even fall apart!)

Thanks Kentucky, I will now see if I can call MWQ off ya!
I put together the site because there was so little info out there on the Jetmotos at the time. Just a few photos on Raceway's site and even they were not what the real production model were like. I hope others have been helped in their decision either way to buy or not buy the Jets. They definitely are not for everyone, there is a lot of up keep that you will not find so much in a big 4. I'm lucky to have a good mechanic as you had seen on my site that has kept these going, and she cheap, just a few laps around they yard and she's happy!
I would love to see more pics and video of the V's in action. Seems Colorado and all are too afraid to ride them too much so we never get but a quick glimpse of video footage. I get the impression just after the short glimps they have to stop and fix things to continue on. So far I'm not too sure they would keep up with the punishment we have put the Jets through!
