Thanks for that video. It was pretty good. I will test the coils again. Anyone know what the resistance readings on the primary and secondary should be on these little coils?

 

I just checked resistance on the coils.

Old coil. Primary Side 0.6 Secondary Side 9.17
"New" Coil Primary Side 0.5 Secondary Side is an OPEN LOOP

I have found no specific ranges but in general it looks like Primary should be 3 - 5 ohms and around 10k on the secondary.

Thoughts

 

I contacted the Ebay seller about the coil without continuity on the secondary side. They sent me another one and it is testing out the same. Everything I can find says this is not right. The replacement coil I bought looks the same in every way except the plug boot on the new ones are plastic and the old one is metal.

Anyone have and figures on what these coils should ohm out at?
Also anyone suggest a reputable source for parts?
