Proofreading new wire harness.

Drawing 3 doesn't look to have the choke wired right. If it is an automatic choke, this is how they usually work. The choke normally allows excess fuel through, but when you start the engine, a wire from the stator (white or yellow) feeds AC power through a heater coil in the choke. As the choke warms up, a thermostat closes the excess fuel valve. Once the engine stops, the heater coil begins to cool, so opening the excess fuel valve again.

Should then the positive go to yellow stator and negative to ground or am i far off here?

If it works, it may be best to leave it, you will have to start up as soon as you switch on, as the choke will start to "switch off," and be sure to switch the ignition off when leaving the machine or the choke will be getting power, flattening the battery and overheating the choke.

I'd suppose this would be a carb problem and not related to the choke? But I'm fairly novise in this so not sure.
