get a new cdi for 6 dollars change the sprockets and new exhaust the jets might be too big and the thing is flooding out the sprocket change will help because it will move easier all these will help and work in unison and it will make riding more fun if it has the 14tooth front I recommend a 12 or 11 the top end will be less but the take off and torque will be amazing all this for less than $75 on amazon

First thing first is to get it running correct stock. Then go with all these exhaust and gearing upgrades. Stock ATV's are fine for the normal rider. Beefing it up before fixing the underlying issue is not the best way to go.

well opening up an old thread quad sat for a bit drained fuel tank fresh gas and oil now it doesnt want to run again i pulled carb cleaned it all out tonight will run great for like 30 sec then dies starts right back up but then will only idle push throttle and it dies im at a loss again any help would be awesome
