Default Anyone know the power limit on these things?

Trying to find info on what breaks first on these starting with the motor. I put a roots style blower on it and got it to work.... Makes 20-25 psi of pressure according to the boost gauge that stops at 20. Motor is a 97cc as casted into the jug. Have 110oct fuel in it. I'm mostly wondering if anyone broke a rod or something.... If you want more info it's a stock ATV and I think 40 tooth cog drive pulley to the drive on the charger 20 I believe. And didn't take much to clock the intake on the head and ovaled out the carb side of the intake to bolt up the charger. The made a flage from charger to carb. Really easy! So it runs and makes boost, maybe a little much... Anyone ever do anything like this?

Quite the experiment! Most are happy that they run at all altho the clone motors do seem to be the best part of the chineeese stuff.

If you have the video on YouTube set to public viewing, you should be able to post it here.

Be interesting to see.

Remaking the main drive shaft, had to buy a latte and really need a mill to finish. Trying to not buy a new one. Should take a pole on what will break first!

I'm thinking the same, money is on the rod... Really need to get a mill this week to get this shaft to work flawless. I'll get the pulley on the shaft today, haven't used a latte since high school. Rammed into the stop and broke a keyway in one of the drives for the latte... Opps...

Nice quote by the way!
