Quad runs away as soon as it start HELP

Electric choke, someone has removed it from the old carb and blanked the hole off. It will have to be wired in, as the choke lets in excess fuel until the engine has run for a while and, if it isn't wired in, it doesn't get power from the alternator and will not shut the excess fuel off.
I found a male end for the electric choke
works both work great
Do you have any experience with why rit won’t go into reverses won’t work ??
