so I got an Chinese 250cc atv running after it had been sitting for who knows how long. I pulled off the gas tank cleaned that rebuilt the carb new fuel lines I also had to special order the start button set up for the handle bars, also put in a new battery, long story short I got it fired up! About a minute into the test ride it dies and doesn't want to turn over. I changed the cylinoid battery still has full juice, still nothing just a click and humming from what I think is the cylinoid pumping voltage to the starter motor. I pulled off the cover plate with the gears in to see if the starter motor is engaging and it's barley turning if at all. Bad starter motor right? Is it possible for the starter motor to go bad during a ride?
