For engine size, you need the engine number. It is marked fairly boldly on a GY6 engine, but I can't remember just where. Low down on crankcase I think.
Thanks guys! Yes I think aftermarket body panels were put on which was throwing me off on identifying it. Now my next problem is it won't start. Ran fine one day then nothing the next no power to the dash. I found this plug picture below that obviously needs work. I'm going to eliminate the plug and direct wire. My question is why does the yellow wire go to Pink and vice versa? This is wiring for regulator rectifier .
I would be cautious of removing the plug as, if you need a new regulator, you would have to re-wire it as well. I would fit a bullet or spade on the red, and leave the rest going through the plug. If the pink and yellow are from the stator coils, and not earthed, it wouldn't matter if they are reversed, sloppy manufacture though. That red will go to the battery via a fuse, and to the ignition switch. Check if the fuse has blown, also check the red that was hot hasn't shorted to earth in the regulator, if it has, it will blow the new fuse.
